It's so hot here already!

It's hot here already and I really want to go to the pool with Evelyn but silly me, I don't have swim suit bottoms. hmmm maybe it's because last year I was pregnant and before that, I weighed significantly more. in other news, we're getting closer!

Already late May

So, we are getting closer until the day when I can say he is finally home. Evelyn is getting big and growing fast. I can't wait for Mike to see how big she is and how much fun she has gotten to be. I've been keeping busy and thankfully time has been passing quickly.

oh so close and yet so very far

It's april now which means we are only a few months away from this deployment being over. Part of me is kind of worried about how we are going to transition to being back together again and how it's going to be to have me, mike and Ev together as a family since this is going to be a whole new dynamic for us. I know that we are strong and we will survive this deployment, I think sometimes I just get caught on the what if's. In other news, I'm officially 50 lbs down from my pre-pregnancy weight. go me!

getting closer

Every day down is a day closer to having him back. He's getting annoyed and frustrated and it's hard not being able to do anything about how he feels. Evelyn is growing super quick. It really amazes me how fast she's growing. :) At least she keeps me busy.

my daughter, my husband and beautiful days like today. Woke up and Ev stayed asleep for another hour so I ate breakfast and got a work out in. I talked to the hubby. Ran to the px to buy razors and shaving cream. shipped it off and got starbucks. I went for a nice long walk with Evelyn. It was a pretty fun day and i'm down another pound.

wow February

In a way, I am so glad that time is flying by so quickly. Every day down, is a day closer to having him back. I tried putting on her panda pj's and she's too tall for them :(

I get to talk to Mike fairly often which is good I just wish he were home but he won't be deployed forever. I'm really proud of myself. I'm almost 40lbs down!
